Join Circular Philadelphia, Klean Kensington, Thomas Jefferson University’s Park in a Truck, Trash Academy and Glitter for the grand opening of the vacant lot transformed by Klean Kensington into a public pollinator garden as part of the Revive and Thrive Project funded by a grant received by the coalition from the William Penn Foundation.
The project brings to life aspects of Circular Philadelphia’s Temporary Vacant Land Activation Policy Guide and tests low-threshold, inexpensive improvements of an unused lot that can model scalable approaches to neighbor-led vacant lot revitalization.
Come celebrate the hard work of the Klean Kensington teens in transforming this former dumping ground into a vibrant shared space for the Kensington community!
